"Wake up every day and make a decision
Start every day on the right foot."

Already on the seventh of October, Lieutenant Omri Rozenblit realised he was going to enter Gaza

Although he was on vacation abroad that Saturday, he informed his family - I am returning to Israel as soon as possible.
After 91 days of intense fighting in Gaza, two days before his unit was supposed to return home to refresh,
Omri and his team went in to clear another house in Khan Yunis.
After scanning a few rooms in the house, a powerful charge explodes, damaging the force and causing the whole house to collapse.
Omri loses consciousness and gets hurt badly.
While buried up to his head in the ruins, Omri manages with his remaining strength, in a moment of consciousness, to raise one of his hands and wave for help.
When one of the medics approached him, Omri began giving orders on how to treat him and managing the rescue from the ruins.
In result of the explosion, in addition to several serious injuries, Omri lost his left leg.
His injury led Lieutenant Omri to a long recovery journey where he had to face many physical and mental challenges.
He managed to do it with an unbelievable amount of mental strength and incredible determination.
In his lecture, Omri talks about his military service as a commander and the war in Gaza.
Omri shares about the mental tools that helped him deal with the injury and beat all the doctors estimations in the complex rehabilitation process.
